As a way of saying “thank you” to the community, in 2016, Mrs. Simplis Barrow decided to organize a Laser Light Show and Christmas Concert on Seashore Drive in Belize City. The event was open to the general public and everything— sweets, snacks, and drinks—were included free of cost.

The family event was a huge hit, and for that reason, Mrs. Simplis Barrow decided to make it a yearly event; each time growing as more community members participated. It magnified from just a couple of booths and performances to a range of fifteen to seventeen booths and around three hours of entertainment. 

The most recent show in 2018 included “Christmas Carnival” games and a grand fireworks display at the end. The now yearly event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and the event flyer is normally shared weeks in advance on the Special Envoy's Social Media Pages.
