On February 16, 2013, The Embassy of Belize in Washington and Mrs. Kim Simplis Barrow in collaboration with the Organization of Women of The America held a Fundraising Gala to raise funds for completion of the Inspiration Center. The Gala was a success, contributing over 40,000 USD to the cause. 

 

Mrs. Simplis Barrow is extremely grateful for Ambassador Mendez and his team for their hard work and dedication as well as for the Belizean diaspora in Washington for supporting the important cause of providing a safe, inclusive environment for children with disabilities, to access much needed services.
